Denim Dungarees

There are some items of nineties fashion that I could not countenance ever wearing again, e.g. chokers, Acupuncture trainers (do they even still exist?), tight polo-neck dresses. However I have noticed myself being drawn to a nineties trend that I didn’t partake in first time around: denim dungarees.

In the nineties they were baggy, usually worn with a check shirt and Docs, and not the most flattering thing you could choose to put on your body. These days they’re cut a wee bit tighter and worn with heels, and if you get it right they can look amazing! I definitely won’t be buying dungarees online as they’re one of those things that you absolutely must try on otherwise it could all go horribly wrong, so I’ll be keeping my eye out for affordable pairs to try on in town.

Here are some of the looks that have been inspiring me. I love the first one but you’d have to be feeling kinda brave to do it, no?!
