I grew up in a family of professional musicians. I spent my summer holidays on the road and the evenings after school in recording studios and rehearsal rooms. I was a singer for a long time, gigging and recording with various bands. Around 2003, I learned how to mix from my boyfriend at the time, a very talented musician, producer and DJ. I was spending my Saturday afternoons with him in record shops so I decided to make use of it, and in retrospect it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
After months of learning how to mix vinyl, I did my first gig in Dublin in 2004. My first love as a DJ was breakbeat and I then moved onto electro. Nowadays I tailor my sets to suit the occasion, playing a mix of electro, house, hip-hop, pop and rock.
I’ve played underground parties through to events in Ireland’s biggest venues and festivals, and I’ve also DJed abroad at Zinc in Dubai, and Scala, 333, Bar Music Hall, Market Place and Industry in London.
Recent clients for fashion shows and launches include Airbnb, Arnott’s, Benefit, BT2, Budweiser, Diageo, Dundrum Town Centre, Dunnes Stores, H&M, Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser, The Irish Times, Irish Theatre Awards, Nike, Revlon and TK Maxx. I was also the Irish face of the Smirnoff “You Had To Be There” campaign in 2009 and 2010.
I have a residency in Whelan’s and do one-off gigs in bars in Dublin.
