Aoi Kotsuhiroi

I came across the jewellery of French designer Aoi Kotsuhiroi on the OAK NYC site. Intrigued by the unusual materials and construction, I did a little research and found her own site plus an interview on A Shaded View on Fashion. The pieces are available to buy on Not Just A Label (an online curated shop which I’ve posted about previously) and on OAK NYC. They are expensive but a lot of work has gone into each item. The rough textures and tribal feel of these pieces look as if they were influenced by Mad Max. While they look like statement pieces, I think they would add an interesting dimension to a simple daytime look.
