With the rain hammering down on us and summer well and truly over, I took stock of my winter wardrobe yesterday and realised how much updating it needs. A new winter coat is on the list as the last one I bought is three years old and completely knackered at this point – this Vivienne Westwood one is waaaaaay out of my price range at the moment but I love the interesting cut. New jeans are on the list too and I love Acne’s durability and good cut. The dress is really a wishlist item as I need practical clothes far more urgently, but I do love this McQ dress for autumn wear. I wear my woolly jumpers so much that they only ever survive two winters so some cosy new ones are on the list; the Warehouse cardi and All Saints cropped jumper will layer perfectly over existing stuff, and I have wanted one of Bella Freud’s Serge and Jane jumpers for ages. Lastly new winter shoes are required; the flats by All Saints are perfect for day wear and I’d wear those droolworthy Sam Edelman boots for nightime.
