If you love fashion and want to spend an afternoon surrounded by gorgeous, purse-friendly finds then get yourself down to The Closet Clear Out, taking place at Andrews Lane Theatre (ALT) this Saturday. Some of Ireland’s leading stylists, fashion bloggers, and fashionistas will be clearing out their closets, so expect rails packed with pre-loved high-street, designer, and vintage clothes, as well as accessories, shoes and jewellery.
As well as some great shopping, Dolly Nails pop-up salon is launching exclusively at The Closet Clear Out. Whether you choose tuxedo nails a la Zooey Deschanel or strawberry designs inspired by Katy Perry, Dolly Nails will make sure your manicure is a talking point!
The Andrew’s Lane Theatre (ALT) has been recently reopened after a rather long hiatus. The team in charge, seasoned promoters Anthony Remedy and Brian Spollen, have been running the venue for the last two months and already it’s garnering lots of attention. Anthony and Brian were the team behind the very successful club Spy (beside the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre in Dublin) and Anthony currently promotes nights in McGrattan’s too.
The guys have their priorities right when it comes to the elements that make a good night out. The club has been refurbished and looks great, with a nice bar area, big dancefloor, great soundsystem and plenty of ladies’ loos (always a good thing!). The drinks promotions are almost unbelieveably good – the last time I was in there they were doing bottles of Prosecco for €10! Details for the nights are below – the music policy is generally danceable pop.

6e with concession / 8 without Thursday – Party Animal
€6 with concession / €8 without Friday – WAR
€6 with concession / €8 without Saturday – Gossip
