I don’t usually lust after designer bags. There have been some exceptions like the Balenciaga City bag, the studded version of the YSL Easy bag, and of course a classic quilted Chanel bag, but my lust list generally contains lingerie and shoes instead of bags. In fact I’ve mostly carried the same All Saints handbag for six years and it’s a testament to the quality of their accessories that it has lasted that long through all the abuse I’ve subjected it to!
When I saw the bags by Bao Bao Issey Miyake on Matches recently I fell in love. The bags are eco-friendly and made of ingenious PVC triangle pieces on mesh that mould to fit whatever the bag contains. They’re an example of amazing design at a reasonable price (well, reasonable when you compare it to Chanel for example) and I think they look futuristic and very eye catching.
