Andrew Stanton on storytelling from TED Talks

It’s Monday so let’s ease ourselves into the week with a great video from TED Talks on storytelling. Filmmaker Andrew Stanton (writer of all three Toy Story films, Academy Award winner as the writer-director of Finding Nemo and WALL-E) tells his personal storytelling history, starting at the end and working back to the beginning.

As I said last week when reviewing The Art of Fielding, great books excel in both storytelling and style. Whether one is telling a story via film or literature, Stanton’s take is interesting and applicable, and filled with humour. Enjoy and have a good week!
