In 2010, two aspiring filmmakers, Jonason Pauley (19) and Jesse Perrotta (21), wanted to get Pixar’s attention so they decided to remake one of the studio’s biggest hits, Toy Story. The reason that this has made headlines and drawn gasps of admiration from the film community? They recreated the entire film in live action!
Live Action Toy Story went up on Youtube on January 12th and has already received close to 8 million hits. Let’s hope that this proactive plan will get these two resourceful filmmakers the careers they want…or at the very least an invitation to the Pixar Studios for a meeting!
