Way back in October I took part in a documentary entitled Merlot and Me, put together and presented by the wonderful Maia Dunphy. (I’m only in it for a brief second, mind you!) The show was about Irish women’s drinking, how we have evolved from a cup of tea culture to a bottle of wine culture, and whether we are causing ourselves harm in the process.
The show was broadcast on RTE2 on Monday night at 9.30pm and it’s now available for Irish viewers on the RTE Player for the next 19 days. Maia has done a great job and the programme is interesting and insightful. Well worth a watch.
