Jan Constantine at Amara

It’s funny the things that assume a place on your radar once you start decorating. I’ve realised that my house has a lot of hard surfaces – wooden floorboards, tiles, paint instead of wallpaper – and so I’ve been thinking of ways to introduce some texture and softness. With this in mind I went to Amara, one of my very favorite interiors sites. It’s more luxurious than utilitarian but we all need a little luxury in our lives! I love the Volsupa candle range (even more luxuriously packaged than Dyptique and not so expensive) and who wouldn’t want something from the Ralph Lauren Home collection (seriously).

Jan Constantine has a gorgeous range of interiors products on Amara, (including some really cool London 2012 designs) but it’s her range of cushions that has caught my eye. I particularly love the Ace of Spades (although every time I look at it the song gets stuck in my head!) and the Queen of Hearts. I’d like to have a non-matching raft of cushions (or whatever the collective noun for cushions is) on my sofa and one of these would be a great start!
