Roadie is an upcoming movie, due to hit our screens in January 2012, which tells the story of a roadie who has just been fired after working for Blue Oyster Cult for twenty years. He arrives home to his mother’s house in Queens and reconnects with old friends and family. The casting looks brilliant with veteran Lois Smith playing the mother, Bobby Cannavale (known to many as Will’s policeman boyfriend in Will and Grace) as the best friend, Jill Hennessy as the neighbourhood beauty and Ron Eldard as the titular roadie. So far it’s garnered great reviews in the US and I’m really looking forward to seeing it.
