Hardly Ever Worn It

Gotta love the recession. It brings us amazing interior DIY blogs, sales, realistic house prices and lots of bargain internet shopping! The latest site to come to my attention is Hardly Ever Worn It. The site is an online marketplace for nearly new high end and designer items. It has garnered some attention recently as some high profile fashionistas have been in the press for donating items to the site. The women in question include Chloe Green, Kate Moss and Sadie Frost and given those wardrobes there are bound to be some covetable items on the site, right? The site has a slightly amateurish feel but there’s no question that the stock is excellent. During my quick browse I found items from Louboutin, DVF, Chanel, Dior, Chloe, McQueen, Alaia and many more names.

The main drawback about the site are the pictures. They are quite small and even when enlarged they aren’t big enough for the savvy internet shopper in my opinion. Additionally they could do with putting which season the designer items are from in the description too. I’m not sure if they deliver to Ireland – I couldn’t find an FAQ on the site – so you may have to do a bit of digging to find that out!

Because the pictures aren’t great you’ll have to go on to the site and check out the range of stuff on sale for yourself. I found a summery Celine chiffon dress for £350, a Dolce and Gabbana black winter dress for £275, a stunning Chanel evening dress for £400, a Thomas Wylde silk scarf for £80, an Hermes solid silver cuff for £450 and a Christian Dior black dress for £100. Happy bargain hunting!
