The Pogues

I grew up surrounded by music; it’s the family business! My Dad was in many bands and is most well known in Ireland for being the saxophone player with Moving Hearts. My step-father, Terry Woods, is also a musician and songwriter and he is most well known for his work with Sweeney’s Men, The Gay and Terry Woods Band and The Pogues. He’s gigging tonight and tomorrow night in The Olympia in Dublin and I’m heading in tonight with my sister and her husband. I’m really looking forward to the gig especially because the band are responsible for one of the best Christmas songs of all time.
