One year ago today I created Alex Donald’s Multiverse with the aim of making myself write every day. It’s been emotional, it’s been fun, and it’s sure as hell been instructive. Forcing myself to come up with new things to write about every day has been a challenge and I’m proud to say that I have posted at least once a day Monday-Friday for a year. It’s certainly helped my fluency as a writer and definitely improved my editing skills!
I’ve also got to virtually and actually meet some of the loveliest people in the blogosphere; from taking part in a fashion table quiz with Whisty, to meeting tons of fashion bloggers at the meet-up, from sharing a love of heavy tunes and black clothes with Queen Michelle, to commiserating over ASOS addiction with Blanaid. I’ve also been lucky enough to blag career advice from Liberty London Girl, indulge in a spot of bonding over a shared love of bizarre jewellery with Jane Aldridge on Twitter, and got to work with the very talented Angela Scanlon. I consider myself a very lucky girl to have had so many great interactions as a result of the blog.

“Vintage medical neck brace collector” – Whatever floats your boat etc.
“Tit torture” – YOWCH!
“I need a girl to get nerdy with” – I’d be so up for this but I guess I didn’t meet this person’s criteria as they never contacted me!
“Human taxidermy” – Groo.
“Blonde transgender women” – I’m just as God made me.
