Blondies Love Vintage

Blondies Love Vintage is a vintage shop that has been popping up around Dublin for about the last year and was set up by Amy Tierney and Suzanne Kenny. Their aim was to create a unique shopping experience selling on-trend handpicked vintage pieces. The duo visit Paris and London and bring back choice garments for sale in their pop-up shop. So far they have done monthly nights in Pygmalion, selling their wares in a laid back boutique environment with delicious wine and Prosecco to refresh customers (always a good plan!). I visited Blondies Love Vintage in May and picked up a fabulous Breton striped dress which became a summer staple this year.

I usually don’t do outfit posts, primarily because I don’t have a collaborator to take pictures. However my sister Sarah volunteered to be photographer this time (thanks Scorch!) as I really wanted to show the amazing quality of this dress. It was only €40, is made from heavy wool-mix fabric, and fits like a glove. I love stripes and think anything Breton is a classic piece, so I consider it one of my best buys of the summer. Make sure you friend Blondies Love Vintage on Facebook so you can check out the next pop-up shop date.
