Duck Sauce is the collaborative venture between A-Trak (how I HEART A-Trak) and Armand Van Helden (who I’m not so mad about). Their debut track Barbra Streisand was released during the summer and to be honest I hear far too much of van Helden and not enough of A-Trak in it! However, the video came out recently and it’s a little slice of brilliance. From the actress playing Barbra through to the umpteen celebrity cameos from the likes of Kanye, Pharrell and DJ Mehdi, it’s definitely worth checking it out.
Also make sure you check out A-Trak’s other work. He’s a bit of a genius having won the World DMC’s at the tender age of 15 and he has also developed a notation system for scratching. I love his remix of the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s “Heads Will Roll”, but my favourite track of his is the remix of Digitalism’s ‘Idealistic”, a monster dancefloor tune!
