A woman in a tuxedo is an enduring iconic image, an image which I would like to emulate at some point in my life. My wardrobe already consists of mostly monochrome pieces so a classic tuxedo is a natural step for me. I’d love to one day own an Yves Saint Laurent “Le Smoking”, the classic female tuxedo. I already have a tuxedo jacket and a great shirt, but I’d love a full suit and of course a top hat! If money were no object I’d be going for this Rochas Tuxedo on Net-a-Porter. In the meantime, the images below will serve as my inspiration.

Love it!! I have far more masculine pieces in my wardrobe than feminine…I really want a tux and The Boy had to stop me buying a top hat a few weeks ago!
I agree with you completely – I love a woman in a tux! I wish I had an occasion to which I could even consider wearing one.
