I grew up in a family of professional musicians; I spent my summer holidays on the road and the evenings after school in recording studios. I was a singer for a long time and in my mid-twenties I learned how to DJ from an ex-boyfriend of mine; I realised if I was going to spend every Saturday afternoon in record shops, I may as well make use of it! After months of learning how to mix vinyl, I did my first gig in Dublin in 2004. My first love as a DJ was breakbeat and I then moved onto electro. Nowadays I tailor my sets to suit the occasion, playing a mix of electro, house, hip-hop, pop and rock.
I’ve played underground parties through to events in Ireland’s biggest venues and festivals, and I’ve also DJed abroad at Zinc in Dubai, and Scala, 333, Bar Music Hall, Market Place and Industry in London. My current residencies include Whelan’s, The Mercantile and Harvey Nichols in Dublin.
I am also available for launches and instore gigs. Recent clients include 3 Mobile (with Jade Jagger), Arnott’s, Bailey’s, BT2, Budweiser, Diageo, H&M, The Irish Times, Irish Theatre Awards, Microsoft and Nike. I was also the Irish face of the Smirnoff “You Had To Be There” campaign in 2009 and 2010.
